Being a solo practitioner allows Dr. Kayce to really bond with the families. As a parent, hearing that your child should be evaluated or having concerns about your child can be an overwhelming and sometimes scary experience. Dr. Kayce feels like it is a gift to have the knowledge and experience she has gained as a parent and professional and is happy to guide and support families through the testing process. She will never push families into testing and often recommends other avenues when appropriate (e.g., working with a specialist, starting with therapy first, different evaluations). She frequently consults with schools and therapists before, during and after testing. Once the evaluation is completed, Dr. Kayce will discuss specific recommendations and referrals, if needed. Her practice offers multiple assessment options (ranging between a half day and two full days of testing) and will customize the battery based on your child's specific needs. Please note that this form is not for emergency purposes. Dr. Kayce will contact you via email or phone during business hours. If you have an emergency, please call 911 or take your child to the emergency room. In addition, the confidentiality of information transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
